Enterprise Support Specialist
Loudoun County Public Schools

I am an Enterprise Support Specialist with Loudoun County Public Schools.  Previously I was an Instructional Facilitator of Technology, an English SALT & 8th grade English teacher, 4th grade teacher, preschool teacher, and a potter.  In addition to my work with technology, I designed and have taught a series of 5 weekly classroom management workshops for Loudoun County Public Schools. These sessions were offered 2-3 times a year for over 15 years. As part of this work I have trained beginning teachers during the Beginning Teacher Institute and at two mini-conferences held each year. I am also a Teacher Trainer for the VEA, and teach classroom management and other workshops for them when needed. I've given presentations on a variety of topics at VATE, NCTE, VSTE, ISTE, Longwood University, and for the VADOE. I was an English SALT (department chair), lead mentor, and an English teacher at Farmwell Station Middle School for 16 years before becoming an Instructional Facilitator of Technology in 2014. I am a also past VATE webmaster & board member, and past Events and Exhibits Chair for NCTE's national conference.  Outside of school I'm a Loudoun County Master Gardener, knitter, cook/foodie, and avid soccer player, who loves to travel and try new things.
